The Oxford Encyclopedia of Religion and the Arts: Renaissance to Modern

This thematic collection of essays is designed to shore up the coverage in the ORE Religion in this fascinating subfield, which has seen an explosion of academic and popular interest. The collection will consist of approx. 120–150 essays that will explore key topics in the study of the role of arts in religion in Western modernity. All of the articles appear online as part of the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Religion.
